GOP Presidential Candidates Snub NAACP

Say it with me, “Republicans don’t hate black people. Republicans don’t hate black people. Republicans don’t hate…. Republican Candidate Tom Tancredo doesn’t hate black people.”

All nine GOP Presidential candidates were invited to the NAACP GOP Presidential Candidate Forum. One Republican Candidate showed up.

All of the Democratic Presidential candidates were invited to the NAACP Democratic Forum. All of the Democratic Candidates showed up.

Crooks and Liars has a photo of what GOP support for Civil Rights really looks like in the year 2007. The photo –Tancredo standing alone amongst all of the empty podiums prepared for GOP candidates– should be on the next cover of Time Magazine and circulating on the front page of newspapers across America.

And to the GOPers that didn’t show, nine so-called scheduling conflicts just doesn’t cut it.

Republicans hate anyone who isn’t white, christian, heterosexual and of course conservative.
