If it weren’t already obvious that Giuliani and his camp are ghouls, preying on the souls of the departed as well as the tears of the living this should remove any lingering doubts.
A supporter of Rudy Giuliani’s is throwing a party that aims to raise $9.11 per person for the Republican’s presidential campaign.
Abraham Sofaer is having a fundraiser at his Palo Alto, Calif., home on Wednesday, when Giuliani backers across the country are participating in the campaign’s national house party night.
But wait there’s more!
According to the invitation, “$9.11 for Rudy” is an “independent, non-denominational grass-roots campaign to raise $10,000 in small increments to show how many individual, everyday Americans support `America’s Mayor.”
Ah yes, give $9.11 to Rudy. I’m so glad Republicans don’t exploit national tragedies for personal agendas and gains –oh wait, how much do you want me to make the check out for?
Giuliani is perhaps the only person that has managed to gain more from 9/11 than President Bush but even W. had the good sense to realize not too long ago that using 9/11 as an unquestionable one-word explanation to explain his quite questionable domestic and foreign policy decisions was no longer acceptable to the American people.
